Must have Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent degree, with ability to oversee student functions including the application of Osteopathic Principles and Practice.

This position serves as the primary faculty for third and fourth year medical students. Performs as a mentor, educator, and evaluator of core medical students in a didactic classroom setting. As a mentor, you will offer advice and counseling in many areas including residency and career concerns. This position also requires periodic progress assessments for each individual charge. As an educator you will have opportunities to assist the Associate Dean in lecturing and OMM and Physical Exam Skills labs. As an evaluator you will be responsible for assessments of oral presentations and written cases. This position has responsibility of a group of students numbering between 8 – 20. Monthly contact with each student is required. Between 1 to 3 on campus meetings are held each month, in addition to an annual conference in Kirksville, MO.
