DO Day at the Legislature

The DO Day at the Legislature provides a great opportunity to get an up close view of the legislative process and to meet your legislators. The day begins with an orientation followed by presentations from key legislators on healthcare issues. AOMA will help you set up individual meetings with your legislators and you will have the opportunity to attend House or Senate hearings throughout the day.


2019 DO Day at the Legislature

Who: DOs and osteopathic medical students
What: Wear your white coat and meet with legislators, accompanied by an AOMA member DO Additionally, leadership from the Governor’s office and the Senate and House Health Committees will come and speak to the group.

Why: To discuss issues impacting osteopathic medicine.
